PreProduct’s Pre-order support Shopify theme app embed works with PageFly-generated pages. Most stores can use their existing PageFly buy buttons without adding a separate element.

Requirements #

Before setting up pre-orders on PageFly pages:

1. Both PageFly and PreProduct installed via the Shopify app store
2. The Pre-order support app embed enabled on your published Shopify theme

Enable Pre-order support #

In PreProduct, open Setup → Enable pre-order support, click Reveal Shopify link, then click Enable pre-order support. In Shopify’s theme editor, switch on the Pre-order support app embed and click Save. If you publish a new theme later, enable the embed on that theme too.

Next, expand the Button tagging card and click Check my theme. If PreProduct confirms that it detected the buy button, no PageFly-specific button setup is required.

Create a pre-order listing #

Set up a product for pre-order in PreProduct:

1. Navigate to PreProduct and click the ‘New Listing’ option from the top menu
2. Search for the product you would like to list and click it
3. You will now be on the main listing creation screen. From here you can configure your pre-order listing
4. Click ‘Create listing’

PageFly fallback: add the PreProduct element

Only continue with these steps if Check my theme could not detect your PageFly buy button. In your PageFly editor:

1. Go to the Integrations section
2. Search for PreProduct
3. Enable the PreProduct element

Add a PageFly Pre-order Button to Your Page #

1. Only add one PreProduct element per product page
2. From your PageFly app, choose your product page
3. From the left-hand side ‘third-party elements’ section, search for the PreProduct element
4. Drag and drop the PreProduct element on to your page, so that it’s close to the add-to-cart button.
5. Save and Publish your page

Note: PreProduct will only be visible when viewing a published page.
