Effects of Theme Updates on PreProduct

PreProduct’s Pre-order support app embed is enabled per Shopify theme. After publishing a new or different theme, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds, switch on Pre-order support, and click Save. You can also open the correct theme-editor link from the Enable pre-order support section of PreProduct’s Setup screen.

PreProduct automatically detects add-to-cart buttons on most themes. Optionally run Check my theme from the Setup screen after changing themes. If you manually added a PreProduct snippet or button tag, copy that customization to the new theme as well.

We recommend keeping copies of your previous theme versions, so that any custom code from us or another partner can be located and copied across. As always, feel free to get in touch and we can support.
