PreProduct Agency Partner Programme
We work with Shopify agencies, consultants, and ecommerce teams who help growing brands launch and manage pre-order campaigns. If you introduce a merchant who signs up to PreProduct’s Scale+ plan or higher, we’ll pay you a recurring referral commission while that merchant remains an active customer.
Commission
Approved agency partners receive:
20% recurring commission for up to 24 months while the referred merchant remains active on PreProduct Scale+ or higher, calculated on net subscription revenue received by PreProduct after Shopify app billing fees.
Commission is based on actual paid PreProduct subscription revenue received by PreProduct, after Shopify app billing fees and excluding refunds, chargebacks, discounts, taxes, and one-off services.
For example, if a referred merchant is on our Scale+ plan at $259/month, the commission would be calculated from the amount received by PreProduct after Shopify app billing fees have been deducted.
Eligible referrals
A referral is eligible when:
- The merchant is new to PreProduct
- The merchant installed PreProduct on or after 1 March 2026
- The merchant signs up to PreProduct Scale+ or higher
- The referral is introduced by email before the merchant installs PreProduct
- The agency, consultant, or partner had a meaningful role in introducing the merchant to PreProduct
Referrals must be approved by PreProduct before commission is paid.
What is not eligible
Commission does not apply to:
- Merchants already using PreProduct
- Merchants already in our sales pipeline
- Merchants who sign up to a plan below Scale+
- Refunds, chargebacks, discounts, taxes, or one-off services
- Referrals made after the merchant has already signed up, unless agreed by PreProduct
Plan changes
If the referred merchant upgrades to a higher eligible plan, commission will be calculated from the new paid subscription amount received by PreProduct after Shopify app billing fees.
If the merchant downgrades below Scale+, commission stops from the date the lower plan takes effect.
If the merchant cancels, commission stops from the cancellation date.
Payment schedule
Commission is calculated and paid quarterly.
Payments are only made after the referred merchant’s subscription payments have been received by PreProduct and confirmed.
We may apply a short delay before paying commission to account for Shopify app billing fees, refunds, failed payments, chargebacks, or billing adjustments.
Payment method
Agency partners are responsible for providing accurate payment details.
Agency partners are responsible for any taxes, fees, or reporting obligations related to commission payments.
Attribution
Most agency referrals happen through real conversations, not perfect tracking links.
To keep attribution clear, please introduce the merchant by email and Shopify domain before they install PreProduct.
If more than one partner claims the same referral, PreProduct will decide attribution based on the original introduction and the role each party played.
Custom arrangements
For larger merchants, strategic agency relationships, or more hands-on implementation work, we’re open to discussing custom terms.
